The lights are on
Dark Horse is on a roll today. Along with the announcement of a comic-book prequel for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, Dark Horse has also announced a comic based on CD Project RED's The Witcher franchise.
Written by Paul Tobin (Bandette) with art from Joe Querio (Lobster Johnson) and covers from Dave Johnson (100 Bullets), the first issue goes on sale March 19, 2014. Neither CD Projekt RED or Dark Horse revealed the timeline of the comic series in comparison to the games. Here's the plot description for the series:
Traveling near the edge of the Black Forest, in the land of the Angren, monster hunter Geralt meets a widowed man whose dead and murderous wife resides in an eerie mansion known as the House of Glass, a place of endless rooms where horror waits around every corner. Geralt will have to use all his witcher prowess to solve the manor’s mystery and survive.
