Racing fans are going to have their pick of games on next-gen consoles next month. In addition to Sony's DriveClub on PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Forza Motorsport 5 on Xbox One, EA is bringing Need for Speed to both new platforms.

Need for Speed: Rivals will arrive for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 22, 2013. For those looking to get the game on current hardware, you can pick it up on November 19 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Our Take
EA is making an interesting decision delaying the next-gen versions by a few days. I have to wonder if sales will suffer as people pick up all of their first-wave games on day one. Will you be saving a spot in your launch budget for Need for Speed: Rivals, or are you making all of your purchases at once?
