The lights are on
Rockstar reported a spectacular launch for Grand Theft Auto V, with over $800 million in its first day, $1 billion in only three days, and a projected $437 million in post-launch sales. The game’s commercial success has been confirmed by Guinness World Records. Grand Theft Auto V, which was developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, made $815.7 million in its first day, and it broke six other records. The game was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Our TakeGrand Theft Auto V is the last and greatest commercial bang of this console generation. For a game that was only released on two consoles, Grand Theft Auto V speaks volumes about the profit that can still be made in this industry, and, I might add, that a game can have a long development cycle and still make a whole lot of moolah.

Love the game,congrats to Rockstar.
Good going Rockstar!
Loving the game so far. Finally I can just chill and free roam the massive world. I'm gonna stretch this one out till Xbox One comes out.
So...this is where all the Rockstar worshipers hang out. Hey guys...if you're really nice, they might want to be friends with you, and take you out for drinks later.
Holy crap. This will definitely go down in history.
I'm amazed how I finished the story last week and I still put just as much time into now as I did then. I never really have a set plan or goal when I start up my PS3 but I always find something to do in Los Santos.
now i wonder when another game will beat these records lol
Damn it deserves all the records it broke.
What's Call of Duty again?
Cha-Ching! So with that $ now can we get a sequel to Bully and Red Dead Redemption?
