The lights are on
Earlier today, Call of Duty: Ghosts executive producer Mark Rubin announced that dedicated servers are coming to a variety of platforms, including PC. Now we know just what kind of machine you'll need to take advantage of that multiplayer feature.
The minimum spec calls 50 GB of hard drive space and a bare minimum of 6 GB of RAM. DirectX 11 is a requirement, as is a 64-bit operating system (Windows 7 or 8). Here's the full list:

Our TakeLast week I suggested that the incoming next-gen consoles might inspire a "spec jump" as PC developers become less constrained by living room hardware. Many dedicated PC gamers are likely running 8 GB of RAM or more and a 64-bit operating system, but those that are a bit more casual might suddenly find themselves in need of an upgrade very soon.
The spec jump isn't a bad thing, though (unless you're tight on cash). With these increased requirements are likely to come better and more graphically impressive experiences.
GB rule da world!
If I wanted these kinda specs, I play Battlefield.
Minimum 550ti?
I bet these guys are awful at poker
If the recommended GPU is a 780, the PC version of this game must be pretty crazy. The GPUs that are going to be in the Xbox one and ps4 can't touch a 780.
50GB HD? I don't think Skyrim with DLC's and a few dozen mods is that much! :P
YES!! First semi-next-gen title I can run on my PC!! *cough* Not that, you know, I like Call of Duty or anything...
I don't really get how it needs 50 gb of space. I mean, BF4 "only" requires 30 and that game has much higher quality graphics and sounds. I just hope that it is like Black Ops 2, so I can install single/multiplayer independently.
seriously a duel core cpu yet you need a minimum of 6 gig of ram?! that makes no sense to me. I would have assumed the minimum cpu requirement would be at least a triple core since that seems the requirement for most games now..(and I am using windows xp pro and pentiom 4 and stuff runs fine)
OMG! No way I am playing this on PC by the time of release.
