The lights are on
Nvidia announced that it is lowering the price of three video card models starting today. Prices should be reflected at retailers soon.
The GeForce GTX Ti Boost 1GB now costs $129. The 2GB version of that same card is $149. The GTX 660 drops to $179.
The next two more powerful models, the GTX 760 and 770 currently retail for $249 and $399 respectively.
Our TakeIf you're looking to upgrade your video card to something that is still considered quite capable, the GTX 660 at $179 (possibly less) is a good deal. Prices of components fluctuate daily, and if you've got your eye on a build that included one of these cards and were waiting to make it fit in your budget, it might be worth another look at the bottom line today.

I have to start looking into building a tower in a year or two. I've been lucky enough to own two laptops that take care of my gaming and video/audio editing needs. But these don't seem too expensive now with the prices drops.
You might want to rethink that "price for a gaming PC" list, now any geek can buy a gaming PC for cheaps.
This is good news! I haven't used my PC in awhile with all the great console games that are out and the PC games I do play from Steam are on my laptop. I guess I'll continue to wait until I need a new card because that will mean I also need to upgrade my whole system...
now that's always good news.
Aw man I just bought my GTX660 2GB for $230... Well, glad for those who can get them more on a budget now!
my PC is starting to age now (I recently put in a GTX 660- boy wish I would have waited for the price drop). I'm looking forward to Steam OS and I'll probably build my own Steam Machine unless they are some pre-made boxes that come out that are appealing. Maybe by that time I'll be able to afford a Titan or whatever is top of the line today, and drop one of those into my machine about a year from now.
I'm assuming you meant the 650 Ti Boost. You left the model number out on the first two prices.
graphics cards are still alittle too much.
