The lights are on
Many staff members (and one intern) are causing yet more chaos in Los Santos. Some of us are also playing some older titles, preparing for Pokémon X and Y, and going to see Gravity.
Tim Turi: This weekend I plan to make as much progress in GTA V as possible. I have a strong feeling I’m getting near the end of the game. While I’ll be bummed when the story is through, I’m ready to have my plate cleared for a big dive into GTA Online (assuming it’s up and running). Besides my car-jacking and heisting plans, I hope to jump into Halo: Anniversary Edition with a friend and blast away some Covenant and Flood for some nostalgic fun.
Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I plan to check out more of GTA Online. I had some luck getting into the game last night, and despite a convenience-store robbery gone wrong (my partner thought I was shooting at him, but it was the clerk – I swear!), I had a lot of fun. Granted, it still eventually crashed and kicked me out of the game, but hopefully Rockstar’s continued server work results in some smoother gaming this weekend.
Ben Hanson: This weekend is just full of possibilities. I still plan on finishing Mario and Luigi: Dream Team before Pokémon comes out, but I'm losing a lot of steam around the 40 hour mark. I've also started losing steam with Grand Theft Auto V's missions; I still love the world and dinking around as much as possible though. Have a good weekend!
Kyle Hilliard: Pokémon pulled me away from Grand Theft Auto V for a while, so I am ready to make my triumphant return. I will continue to be playing Pokémon though, as there is still a lot I’d like to do in Kalos. Other than that, I think I will be going to see Gravity. I’ve been excited about that movie for a long time, based purely on Alfonso Cuarón doing something in space. He’s one of those directors that I want to see everything he does.
Mike Trinh: I’m looking forward to watching Gravity this weekend! Beyond that, I’ll be chipping away at the GTA V single player and possibly trying out Might & Magic Clash of Heroes, which is free on Xbox Live right now.
Isaac Perry: Guild Wars 2 continues to release some great free content over a year after release. I played some of the new Twilight Arbor content earlier this week and I look forward to wasting away hours doing it again and again.
Katie Seville: I hope to finally finish Bioshock and begin Infinite later this weekend. I know I’ll also continue to torment myself with information about Pokémon X and Y (I've finally decided on Y) that I’ve already read a million times. Hopefully seeing Gravity will distract me while I’m waiting.
This is my favorite section to read every weekend. I've noticed the comments have fallen dramatically since the summertime. Support this section every week please.
While I still have some work to do in GTAV, since the the Battlefield 4 Beta became available to me on the 1st, every time I reach for a controller its BF I gravitated to. I've also got to play my week in my NCAA 14 online dynasty league. I'm going to wait a while longer before I start GTA Online and all the kinks are worked out. Patience is a virtue.
Went to putt putt today for my sons birthday!!! We had a lot of fun. Still more GTA V.
Gaming wise, I'll be finishing up the story tomorrow. 2 more missions left. Then it's for sure screw around time. I promised my brother we'd really screw around so we will screw around, try to get trophies, and maybe try online. Seems an interesting concept and looks fun. So basically GTAV all this weekend. Other then that, we will try to see a movie tomorrow. Our choices: Cloudy with a meatballs 2, Gravity, and Prisoners. I'd really liked to see Prisoners with my brother, but parents allready seen it and didn't like it. To violent for them apparently. If I can't convince them to see Prisoners, I'll try for Gravity. Sounds to be a great weekend.
I got a bunch of new comics to hold me until I get my copy of Pokemon X!!!!!!!!!!!!
On my second play through of GTAV, about half way through if I remember right. I still need to get back into Borderlands 2 and finish the DLC, but I don't think I'll have time to finish GTA and Borderlands 2 before Beyond: Two Souls comes out.
GTA V,Tales Of Xillia,Uncharted 2 and Kingdoms Of Amaular Reckoning.
I really hope that I'll put a solid number of hours into Wind Waker HD and Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
More Kingdom Hearts and Kamen Riders! XD
Going to try and finish GTA V this weekend and mess around online, I need to finish this game so I can move onto my backlog and finish up some other games
GTA IV online (not a typo). It's about time I platinum'd the game.
Grand Theft Auto V. Finally got into GTA online and played a little of that. Also, Windwaker Wii U if I tear myself away from GTA V. Or Earthbound. Earthbound is hilarious.
Etrian Odyssey for me. But I gotta go on the hunt for some part time work. Phooey.
GTA V, whilst I eagerly await the arrival of Pokemon Y. Other than that, sleep.
I'm playing Etrian Odyssey Untold, Rune Factory 4 and Wind Waker HD this week.
I am going to try and finish Mario and Luigi's Dream Team and of course ACNL. Hubby brought me Rune Factory 4 on Wednesday so I am hoping to get into that as well been a busy wk have a great wk end everyone.
