The lights are on
If you've not yet played Telltale Games' The Walking Dead, now is a good time to try it out. The first episode of the five-part title is now free on Xbox Live (worldwide) and PlayStation Network (North America).
Telltale has also announced that the season pass, which delivers all five episodes, has now been reduced to $14.99 on the PlayStation Network. Telltale is readying The Wolf Among Us, based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic books, and season two of The Walking Dead.
Our TakeAs a fan of point-and-click adventures and The Walking Dead source material, Telltale's work was a thrill for me to play through. I would also recommend the 400 Days DLC, as it will bridge the two seasons (and tells five interesting stories about brand new characters).

great news! I think everyone should at the very least, experience this game. This is a great way to do that. It was easily one of the best video game experiences I've had in quite some time, and I hope this encourages more people to give it a shot.
This has been free on both systems for like a year, unless they took it out and made it free again for some reason.
This reminds me: I still need to play that DLC.
I loved the first 5 episodes or season 1. I got the 400 days dlc awhile back still havent finished it. I guess I don't like the characters as much.
this game has been free for about four months. why is this just now making the news?
Uh almost a year
Does this include the Vita version? I really hate that it isn't a cross-buy title. I bought the season pass for PS3 when it first came out and played through a couple of times as well as a couple of times through "400 days". Would like to try it on the Vita too.
It's always been free on XBLA, or was that for Gold members only?
Too bad I already paid my way through Season One as I played it.
I think this has been free for a while.
SWEET! I will definitely be downloading this later!
I downloaded it when it was free a while ago on xbox... still haven't tried it
Got it for Xbox 360 when it was free. Guess I'll get this for PS3 also.
