Xbox Live Gold Free This Weekend
The good news is that Xbox Live Gold is going free this weekend in a number of countries, including the United States, Canada, and the UK. The bad news is that it means even more people are going to be trying to play Grand Theft Auto Online.
From October 4 through 6, you'll be able to play online and access services typically reserved for paying Gold members. This includes Netflix streaming and multiplayer.

Our fingers are tightly crossed that Rockstar is able to smooth out the server load for Grand Theft Auto Online. That title is the most likely target for Silver members. Maybe Microsoft should have given it one more week.
