The lights are on
Square Enix and developer Eidos Montreal have finally announced a release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut.
The game was initially announced as a Wii U exclusive, but has since broadened out to include the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
The Director's Cut comes out on October 22, and includes added functionality via the Wii U GamePad, SmartGlass, and the Vita, among other new features.

Our Take:It was originally thought that the Wii U director's cut would take advantage of that system's launch window, but obviously the release date got pushed out to encompass the other systems. It will be interesting to see if being so close to the holiday season will help or hurt the game's sales.
