Original Story: We're in the throes of the new soccer season, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 has just come out. The good people at Konami want to share the wealth by giving away free downloads of the game for PS3.

I love playing PES!!! Best Soccer Game Ever!!!!:D
I love playing PES!!! Absolutely Amazing Game!!! Best Soccer Game Yet!!!
The last PES of this generation brings me back, from the dark side. Played the demo to death and finally that certain intangible sense of elation when I score a well crafted goal. Something that has been missing for quite a while now.
Haven't played PES in years !
PES is probably the only sports franchise I've put a good portion of my gaming hours into, and I'm not into sports games at all! I guess it all boils down to the excellent controls and the player animation, there's just something about the way it "feels" to take control of a player and have him gracefully dart around the field.

Only played a little at a friends house but I liked what I saw.
Did the contest close? Did the codes go out? I'm confused.
It's really cool to see a publisher - for once - totally overhaul their game instead of iterate on it slightly for a new installment (EA). But man, Pro Evo gets choppy as heck now during "cutscenes". The gameplay seems super smooth, but as soon as it cuts to close ups of the players, it becomes a flipbook (no hyperbole; the framerate takes a D-I-V-E).
I'm really surprised. Makes me wonder how MGS: Ground Zeroes will play on current gen consoles if the FOX Engine is so brutal. Or, maybe, the Pro Evo team just didn't optimize it right?
