Original Story: We're in the throes of the new soccer season, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 has just come out. The good people at Konami want to share the wealth by giving away free downloads of the game for PS3.
To get a code, please jot down some thoughts on the series in the comments section below. Winners will be selected at random later today.

I've never been a huge soccer guy. It's fun to play but not to watch. That's why I'd rather play the game. FIFA was fun and I heard this series wasn't too bad either.
Feel of a game is so important to me. For any game, sports or shooter or whatever. For soccor, PES has always felt so much better. Good luck everyone!
I've liked this series since way back when it was called Winning Eleven. A free code would be great!
Played the demo, felt like another game, not PES,which is good.So I would like to get the code to fully experience the game. Thanks
PES, for me, has always been the more 'rigorous' football game to play. Scoring gets tougher than Fifa and player handling is sharper. Would love to get a free ticket to the season this year!
Havent played it because FIFA gets force fed down everyones throat but i think it would be cool to try the competitor since i havent bought FIFA 14 yet. Would be nice to check it out i do enjoy a good soccer game.
It seems that Konami was finally able to put the PES franchise on top as the most beloved by most players. The retouched graphics smooth controls are even higher for the game in its entirety. The gamer's complete control over their actions in the field ensure Pro Evolution Soccer's continuation of being a fierce competitor against FIFA.
I haven't played a football/soccer game since PES on PS2. Sort of lost the appeal to me. Last couple of years I've thought about trying the new ones though. For £50 though? Your kidding your self. It won't drop in price until the next annual game and then this will be redundant. I guess I'll just never be getting back into it.
I have always been a huge fifa fan and this is one of those games I have only played once in 2006. I liked it, but I wasn't sold enough to buy a newer version. If I were to get this copy I would be thrilled to try it out.
I haven't played this series in a while, but I like playing FIFA with my brother, so I'm sure it's pretty good. After all, soccer is arguably the best type of sport to play on consoles.
After playing FIFA 10 I gave up on the soccer games but the past few titles have all looked great. PES 14 has some amazing graphics and looks to have great ball control. Might be worth a shot at playing. Especially to prepare for the World Cup next year in Brazil. Deutschland!!!!
love this game!!! never been a fan of fifa. the game mechanics and dynamic is simply superb!!!
finally a PES14!
I've been a FIFA fan my entire life, but PES has more heart and I've been bothered by some of the changes FIFA keeps making
I remember playing pse when I was younger. I had a lot of fun playing the game back then. I haven't gotten back into the series in a few years now, but I really like what they are doing with the series now. It is big improvement from last year version.
I played a PES title a few years back and had fun with it. The past few FIFA's have been largely the same. Might have to try PES again.
This series is what "futbol" is all about.....skill, skill, and a little bit of Skill. Although I find this series to be harder to master than the other brand, I find that it is just a much better game to play. When you have a game that is this well put together you really forget that you are not playing with all of the "brand name" teams, but playing football in the purist way you can for being on a console! Bring on the Fun!
I just recently got into soccer/football as a sport this past Summer with FIFA 13. I've been hearing great things about the PES series with licensing and higher learning curve.
I prefer FIFA now, but I used to exclusively play PES WAAAAY back in the day. So far, I have heard good reviews, but still hear FIFA is better right now. Although, I do hear that PES has been much more realistic (like it was when I used to play it). Maybe it's time I give this a whirl.
Great contest! I was a PES fan all through the PS2 era (Winning Eleven back then)... but FIFA surpassed it and stole my heart in this generation.
That being said I would love to see what changes have been made and see how it stacks up.
