The lights are on
In the world of The Last of Us, September 26 is the day that the outbreak truly began. The team at Naughty Dog is marking the day with the release of a video that puts an unusual twist on the game's final scenes.
The video, which you can watch below, was initially shown to PAX attendees last month. However, be warned: It spoils some late-game events, so you can only watch it safely if you've completed The Last of Us.
In the same post on the PlayStation Blog, creative director Neil Druckmann says that Naughty Dog will unveil more about the company's DLC plans tomorrow, September 27.
Our TakeI love when developers do things like this. Behind-the-scenes moments and alternate interpretations of scenes are always fun to watch. I wish games included more of this on-disc, but I'm just pleased that the content is released in some form.
Of course, the bigger news is the DLC tease. I'll have to wait until tomorrow for all the details, but I'm hoping for the announcement of some single-player, story-based missions.

This entire The Last Of Us experience just keeps getting better! So excited for the DLC.
I wonder if you'll use different characters from different parts of the U.S. in the DLC.
I just hope any additional story content doesn't feel tacked on or muck things up.
Ladies and gentlemen that was the greatest behind the scenes video I have ever seen!! Pure Awsomeness!!!
Please let it be single player stuff, the online is good but thats not why I brought the game at all.
Hilarious! That was awesome!
Next ti burial at sea this is my most anticipated dlc. Hope they follow thru with the single player dlc.
I'd like to see a DLC covering some of the stuff Joel did the twenty years between the present and the events of the game. Not everything (that could easily fill an entire game) but maybe key events, like how he met Tess and Marlene.
I hope the DLC comes out before the PS4 releases.
I've seen that I believe, but it was no less hilarious this time around.
That was great! What a cool team they have.
"No. Die! Die! Die!" That part made my sides hurt.
If only we could unlock and ending like that! Hilarious!
And it's about damn time they talked about DLC. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.
I don't even think they'd be this bold to do it, but what if they ever made that alternate ending into a DLC level? I think Naughty Dog was pretty confident in how they delivered their finale, but it'd sell a ton just to see how everything would've ended up, I betcha. In any case, it's got to be something story related; another cool shotgun or a different skin would be too lame to announced with this kind of pomp.
HAHAHA!!! That was amazing!!
