Batman: Arkham Origins Gets Season Pass Full Of Skins And Story

by Mike Futter on Sep 26, 2013 at 03:45 AM

Batman: Arkham City was chock full of different Batman skins celebrating the history of the Dark Knight. Batman: Arkham Origins looks to be upping the ante, with even more callbacks to the storied past of Gotham's greatest defender. A season pass will offer up even more ways to customize your crime fighter.

The Arkham Origins season pass comes with the following items:

  • New Millennium Skins Pack (five Batman skins and one Robin skin)
  • Infinite Earths Skins Pack (five Batman skins and one Robin skin)
  • Gotham by Gaslight Batman (only available in the Season Pass)
  • Brightest Day Batman (only available in the Season Pass)
  • Initiation - Play as Bruce Wayne in his final test
  • An unrevealed story expansion

The season pass will cost $19.99 (a reported $30 value). Batman: Arkham Origins will be available on Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 25, 2013. The season pass will be available on all platforms. Our Take
The skins in Arkham games are kind of silly. You can only use them after you beat the main campaign and in the challenge maps. And still, they are absolutely covetable. I went out of my way to make sure I had a Batman Beyond skin for Arkham City, and I regret nothing.

The usefulness might be improved this time out, as Batman and Robin make an appearance in the multiplayer mode. That could explain the Robin skins (and also add value to this season pass). Of course, stalking the shadows as the shiny Brightest Day Batman might not be the best for your health.
