The lights are on
Do you want to help test Dark Souls II? If so, you might want to read on and find out how Namco Bandai is going to roll out the different phases of its testing.
The first batch of 5,000 participants will be welcomed into a network test on October 12, 2013. A larger group will be invited for an October 26, 2013, testing phase.
Those that qualify will be sent a code via the PlayStation Network. That code can be redeemed on a first-come, first-served basis (so move quickly).
The beta is under a non-disclosure agreement, so you won't be able to tweet, talk, YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram about what you see. Progress during the testing phase will not carry over to the final version.

Our TakeDark Souls has a loyal following amongst gamers. I expect that once these codes are distributed, the 5,000 spots are going to fill up fast. Fret not though, a second test will include a larger pool.

Thanks for using my tip, I've actually tried to send it a couple times and kept getting errors...
Dang, probably too brutally hard of a Beta for me to test, but I wish those hardy testers luck.
