The lights are on
Mega Man is going to be starring in his own off-screen adventure, thanks to a board game from Jasco Games. The project is in development, and the makers are planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help keep things moving.
Rockman Corner had news of the game a while back, when a prototype of the officially licensed game was shown at Gencon – including early sculpts of the Mega Man and Cut Man figures. The game is played with cards, and players have to complete levels representing each of the Robot Masters from Mega Man 1.
Jasco has since updated its Facebook page, saying that Mega Man the Board Game was coming soon to Kickstarter. We'll let you know when the project does make an appearance on the crowdfunding site.

hmmmm, and capcom is probably wondering why everyone is loving Might No. 9... really a board game, wehre is a new megaman game... ugh.
Um, no. A board game? AND on Kickstarter?!
Honestly, people should boycott Capcom when it comes to Mega Man now. Mega Man's daddy is coming out with a spiritual successor, no need to bother with Capcom's cash cow any longer. Send a message to Capcom, boycott this ridiculous idea.
And this is why people hate capcom.
Megaman not made by Keiji? Not interested, Might No.9 will be the revival to the series.
Also how did they obtain a license but arent getting funded already...
megaman has always been a grate game but a board game not sure love the figures but the mighty number 9 and kickstarter should till Capcom that long run games are long running because we want to play them eg breath of fire, mega man and zero so mack the game get the cash and stop letting fans down
That is pretty cool but as I never played the game, maybe if they came out with a new edition of the video game it would make the board game more relievent for those of us who weren't old enough to of played it the first time around on an old nintendo system (not sure which one it was on)
Yup, that's what the fans have been asking for, not an actual video game.
"This is not the Mega Man game you are looking for."
Rolls dice it lands on 4 moves 4 spaces 1,2,3,4 draw a card, card says SCREW YOU CASHCOM WE WANT A NEW MEGA MAN GAME! rolls dice again gets 3 moves 1,2,3 draw card card says Capcom goes bankrupt. Great board game the only game where even if you loose you win!
What is up with so many things going to Kickstarter these days?
As long as they give a free version of the game to the people that contribute like Mighty No. 9 and Shantae did, then it's OK by me. Otherwise it's just begging.
Drop this and bring me Megaman Legends 3 or both. As long as I get Megaman Legends 3 I don't really care what happens to this.
