The lights are on
Ahead of the holiday video game rush, the PlayStation Network is offering a promotion that gives players money back if they spend a certain amount.
Beginning today and ending October 29, when you spend $50 from your Sony Entertainment Network wallet, you will receive $10 back, with the opportunity to to get a maximum of $100 back. This promotion applies to video games, movies, music, and the purchase of PlayStation Plus accounts. If you take advantage of the deal, you will get your rebate money returned to you by November 8.

Our TakeTaking advantage of pre-ordering on the PlayStation Network means many upcoming games will fall in the window of this discount. If you want to try out digital downloading instead of purchasing retail copies, this might be the time to give it a shot. Personally I am not ready to totally give up on boxes and discs. I am an old man in that way. I am working on it though.

i might use this to pick up some ps1 games, or the ffx HD version if that comes out by christmas (which i doubt -.- stupid square taking years to do everything)
Nice Holiday cheer from Sony:)
Ok, what a deal. I have no problem getting money back when I buy something. Thanks Sony.
This is great! I'm going to wait till the last day and re subscribe to PS+ that way I'll be ready to transfer my PSN ID to my PS4 on 11/15. 1 year subscription to PS+ for 40 bucks is a damn good deal.
OF COURSE! Right after I buy GTA -_-
Not a bad promotion at all!
Too bad one couldn't pre-order a PS4 off psn and Sony would ship directly.
The credit is more than enough for a free game!!
Not bad! I'll just buy add-ons no digital versions of full games, box and disc is vital.
Wow, great deal.
This is great seeing as I have a lot of 10 dollar games I plan on buying.
Time to renew the ol PlayStation Plus account!
$10 back?Yep,this is the best time for me to get PSPlus.
