The lights are on
James Farr has combined two of the 80s best properties, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Super Mario Bros., in a new video celebrating both. It's not often that we see Mario as the bad guy, but it's more than appropriate this time out.
Keep your eye out for some clever references, including a dig at the most frustrating level of the original NES title featuring the fearsome foursome. And it's also clear that Mr. Farr is celebrating the Year of Luigi, putting the green-clad brother in one of the coolest TMNT roles.

The blue Shell should be an Item in Smash Bros. 4.
I wish I knew TMNT better, because this video is so awesome! I love the Super Smash Wars poster.
Nice little flecks of nostalgia throughout all of that, need to go find my old TMNT games and have some fun.
LOL Yoshi Mousers :P
Wow this video reminds me of Heavy Rain in a way. "How Farr, would you go to resurrect something you love.."
If this was a real game, I would so buy it!
As a kid, I always called those guys from Paper Mario the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Koopas". Now my dream is finally realized.
All about the love. And do I ever!
That was amazing!
That was pure genius. I loved the Zelda Cartridge too.
Dat be da bomb. The best Year of Luigi vid yet.
Gotta love this. Also Mario is evil anyways.
