The lights are on
In advance of the PC and PS3 releases of the final Call of Duty: Black Ops II map pack, Apocalypse, Activision is conducting two special events this weekend. If you've been itching for some more XP or have been interested in trying out the Uprising map pack, you're in luck.
The double XP weekend will be taking place across platforms, so regardless of where you like to play or which DLC you own, you're set. The free Uprising DLC trial will be on Xbox Live only.
This pack includes four maps: Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio (which Black Ops players will recognize as an update to Firing Range). Additionally, the Mob of the Dead zombies map with Ray Liotta, Michael Madsen, Chazz Palminteri, and Joe Pantoliano is included.
Our TakeDouble XP and free DLC (for the weekend)? Sounds like a good deal for Call of Duty fans both hardcore and casual. This might be the weekend I jump back in to play some Kill Confirmed (my favorite mode). If you see me, remember to thank me for being an easy target.

I don't really like BO2
Really liked the campaign for Black OPS 2, that's where it ended for me.
damn it, why does it have to be this weekend? :(
*yawn*, to bad im done with Black ops 2
I like BO2, but this weekend both of my hands are busy with GTA V.
I applaud Activision for the kind gesture, though I really dislike Call of Duty Black Ops 2.
