The lights are on
Metro: Last Light developer 4A Games asked for fan submission for new weapon ideas, and this impressive multi-barreled shotgun won.
The design was submitted by Alexandre Bannwarth, a design student at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. The weapon - which, in keeping with Metro's post-apocalyptic setting, is made up of scrounged bicycle parts - has been selected to be included in 4A's new Developer Pack DLC.
The Bicycle Shotgun was chosen both for its obvious in-game utility and the fact that 4A Games' creative director Andrew "Prof" Prokhorov felt that it was well-designed and could actually function if built in the real world.
Our Take:The creativity of fans never ceases to amaze us. This looks like one bad-ass gun. There's only one question though...is this a hipster shotgun made from fixed gear parts?

awesome, now we just need that "Man at Arms" guy on You tube to BUILD this!
I hope it shoots bicycles from the all the barrels.
Wow that is crazy awesome!
They actually made a gun somewhat similar to this, many years ago. tml.travellercentral.com/.../index.html
Wow, that it pretty impressive.
Serious Sam 2 much?
That's incredible. It should be a gun in Fallout. But Metro suits it just fine.
That is so sick!! A+ to Alexandre for coming up with a wicket weapon for killing wasteland baddies.
@helgeson: Check that hand brake. No self-respecting hipster would have one on their fixie.
This weapon should be in every game, and it should be used to shoot hipster AI's (the irony would be delicious)
Sounds like an awesome creation.
