Dark Souls II Gets A Release Date And A New Trailer

by Kimberley Wallace on Sep 18, 2013 at 04:33 AM

Dark Souls fans won't have too long of a wait before the infamous "You Died" screen greets them again. Namco Bandai confirmed that Dark Souls II is releasing on March 11, 2014.

March's invitation into a new punishing world is only confirmed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as of this time. Namco Bandai said a PC version will release shortly afterward, but couldn't confirm a time frame, since the developers are set on making a "proper" PC version for as many specs as possible.

Dark Souls II is bringing back many features fans have come to love, like blood messaging and blood stains, but tweaks are in place so nobody exploits any one feature to make the game the easier. That's not what Dark Souls is about, anyway.
