The lights are on
Dark Souls fans won't have too long of a wait before the infamous "You Died" screen greets them again. Namco Bandai confirmed that Dark Souls II is releasing on March 11, 2014.
March's invitation into a new punishing world is only confirmed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as of this time. Namco Bandai said a PC version will release shortly afterward, but couldn't confirm a time frame, since the developers are set on making a "proper" PC version for as many specs as possible.
Dark Souls II is bringing back many features fans have come to love, like blood messaging and blood stains, but tweaks are in place so nobody exploits any one feature to make the game the easier. That's not what Dark Souls is about, anyway.

Can we get a Wii U port as long as you're still working on it?
Ok great now I know when to take my vacation next year
I really wish this was coming to next gen consoles. I have a ps4 launch day preordered. Come March using the ps3 will fell sooo dated. Especially considering how much better the ps4 controller is supposed to be.
This is gonna hurt. But it's gonna feel so good!
Thank you for not including in-game content in the special or collectors edition Namco-bandai and From software.
Hurray! We're all gonna die!
Oh Lawdy! Lawdy Lawdy Lawdy!!!
Meh who cares, I will still be playing GTA V.
Wonderful trailer! Finally a release date, March 11th can't come here soon enough.
Any news on a next gen version? If there is I'll probably wait till its out.
