The lights are on
Rockstar's games are as much rampage playgrounds as they are satirical mirrors of our society. When you need a break from completing missions and progressing Grand Theft Auto V's the story, there's always carnage to keep you occupied. As usual, Rockstar has included a number of cheat codes to make this more enjoyable.
Cheat Code Central has compiled the list, but we have not yet had the opportunity to test all of these, and using them will disable your ability to earn achievements and trophies. Make sure you save before using them so you can resume your progress when you've gotten the insanity out of your system.
Whether you want to play with your wanted level, give yourself explosive ammunition, or generate any number of different vehicles, these codes have you covered. You can check out the Xbox 360 list and the PlayStation 3 list at Cheat Code Central.

Our TakeI miss the days of cheat codes, especially ones that give players the chance to experiment and make more out of game systems than the "normal" experience allows. Allowing players to drop a tank or helicopter into Los Santos is sure to create some memorable videos. Just remember to follow Rockstar's rules when you post them.

Glad Rockstar is one of the last few developers to allow cheat codes. THey put in a whole lot of blood, sweat, and tears to create this massive world, but still want us to treat it like a playground. Sucks it disables trophies, but that is fair. Oh man, I cannot wait to pick up my preorder and play tonight!!
Disables trophies permanently? Why not just while the cheat code is active?
Oh how I missed cheat codes. Can't wait to try these out on a random save file.
Those cheat codes suck. No codes for weapons. What a rip. Hopefully there are more codes to be found.
old fashion cheat codes :D
Saints Row makes you pay for stuff like this.
The better game is obvious.
If you use the cheats i would do a separate save file that you use for screwing around in the game.
Question is, if you get hit while looking through those codes, do you have to scroll through them all again? That was so damn annoying in GTA4
That's okay. I don't really care much for achievements or trophies, when I play games. The fun factor is all I'm concerned about. Seems like R* has that covered, so I'm good. :)
I just hope your vehicles don't float in the air this time...
Awww GI is linking back to CheatCC my first gaming website, and the one where I used to get my Vice City and San Andreas codes. What a nostalgia bomb.
Before I go find which cheat codes are legit, I will prepare the tears if a jet cannot be spawned.
They really need a money cheat!
