The lights are on
Xbox 360 players who make installing games to their hard drives part of their gaming routine should use caution with Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar says installing the "play" disc, in addition to the one marked "install" could create performance issues.
Word came via Rockstar's support account on Twitter, in response to customer questions. "An 8GB install is required. For optimal performance, we recommend not installing the play disc," read the tweet. Rockstar didn't respond to additional questions asking for elaboration. For the time being, just don't do it.
This potential issue is only relevant to the Xbox 360 version of the game, as the PlayStation 3 edition ships on a single Blu-ray disc.

Thank god I saw this warning
Good to know.
Well they did not think that through. I roll Ps3 so I'm good.
I'm glad I saw this article.
The good thing about getting this as soon as possible is that you get to play it without tearing your hair out in anticipation. The bad thing is that you have to deal with it in its rawest form, which means odd bugs or performance issues.
Well hey they did warn us. If people make this mistake and complain. They did not read the warning. It is clearly posted. Yet who am I kidding. This is the freaking Internet. People are little trolls and have an IQ of .0002.
