Watch Dogs Adds NASCAR Driver Brad Keselowski To Its Celebrity Cameo Roster

by Kyle Hilliard on Sep 15, 2013 at 08:04 AM

Along with comedian Aisha Tyler, NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski will be making an appearance in the upcoming Watch Dogs.

It's unclear exactly what his role will be, but it doesn't sound like he will be an integral part of the game's story. Instead, like Aisha Tyler, it seems like he will just be an NPC that exists in Watch Dog's universe. As you will be able to do with every NPC, protagonist Aiden Pearce will be able to hack his profile in order discover untold secrets.

Watch Dogs is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on November 19, 2013. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases are planned for those systems' launches.

Our Take
Sometimes the appearance of celebrities in games can be distracting and break the suspension of disbelief for a world. I'm curious if this will be the case with Watch Dogs. Will virtual Chicago feel more real with the presence of real recognizable people? Or will it just seem weird? I guess we'll find out on November 19.
