The third season League of Legends World Championship begins today, ending October 4, and Riot Game has released a video for the event to get everyone excited.

If you're not already there in person at the event, which is taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, unfortunately, you've already missed your chance to grab tickets. Competitors from North America, Europe, China, Korea, and South East Asia will all be competing for portions the $8 million prize pool.


Our Take
League of Legends' popularity is staggering. If someone could figure out a way to combine it with Minecraft, I think everyone else would just give up on trying to make video games forever.
