The lights are on
The only Zelda game that isn't a legend, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, is now available on the Wii U Virtual Console.
The game is $4.99 to download, unless you own the Wii Virtual Console
version of the game, in which case it will cost you a dollar to upgrade.
As is the case with all Wii U Virtual Console games, you can play the
game on the television, or exclusively on the GamePad.
If modern Zelda is more your thing, Wind Waker HD for Wii U is coming October 4, and A Link Between Worlds is coming to 3DS November 22.
Our TakeMore classic Virtual Console games on Wii U is always good thing. The Virtual Console's releases are still trickling a little slower than I think we'd like, but easy access to Zelda classics is nothing to complain about.

You forgot to add that wind waker HD will also be available on Friday for anybody that wants the digital version or if you are buying the console bundle with the game.

I love this game, even though it is considered the black sheep of the series.
P.S. Love the temple theme in this game. Fun Fact: The Temple stage in Melee is based off of this games temples, and the theme that compliments it is the Temple theme that plays in said temples. After finding that out, it made me appreciate that Melee stage that much more :)
This is cool, but too bad my Wii U is essentially a Netflix box for the kid and wife. I'll pick it up but I doubt I'll ever get to play it
This was the first Zelda game I owned, and I don't think it holds up well at all. I want Link to the Past on VC already, Nintendo. What's with the slow releases?
Good to see...
Good to hear. ^_^
Awesome news, again.
Noice. Another productive comment by me.
