Weekend Warrior 09/13/13

by Ben Reeves on Sep 13, 2013 at 02:00 PM

Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V comes out next week, so a lot of us will be working on polishing up the other games on our plate before that monster hits.

Jeff Marchiafava: I’m taking next week off for GTA V so really I’m starting one massive weekend. Until Rockstar’s newest opus comes out, however, I’ll be cranking away on more Diablo III. My wizard is already amusingly overpowered, and I’m liking my new monk too. I’m sure am going to miss them come next Tuesday.

Andrew Reiner: I think I speak for many people when I say this weekend goes to finishing up as many games as I can before Grand Theft Auto V hits. The games on my plate are Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Crysis 3, Gone Home, and Puppeteer. I haven't started Puppeteer yet, but I am close on Splinter Cell. Gone Home should be doable, too. Crysis 3, I have no idea when I'm going to finish you.

Mike Futter: I'll be spending some time killing monsters in Diablo III (on console), experimenting with a variety of free-to-play card games to find out which are the most accessible without opening the wallet, and playing some Scribblenauts Unlimited with the kids. If there's time (and people willing to join me) I might jump in for some Spies vs. Mercs in Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Kyle Hilliard: I am finished with Rayman Legends. There are plenty of additional Lums to find and Teensies to uncover, but I watched the credits roll and I think I’ve had my fun. And it was a lot of fun. I’ve been enjoying Saints Row IV so I plan to continue on that, and maybe I’ll play a few rounds of Killzone: Mercenary’s multiplayer. Otherwise it will be family time, and checking my watch every few minutes to see if Tuesday has arrived with Grand Theft Auto V yet.
