New Lego Minecraft Sets Available Now

by Andrew Reiner on Sep 12, 2013 at 09:33 AM

Minecraft is the first Lego brand to jump from a one-off CUUSOO project to an ongoing line. Lego is also reprinting the original Minecraft Micro World set, a move we rarely see from this company, resulting in many of its sets selling hundreds or thousands of dollars in secondhand markets.

Game Informer readers from all corners of the globe are reporting that two new Minecraft sets are available for purchase. The first set, The Village, consists of 466 pieces, and comes with pig, zombie, and villager figures. You can also see a hidden mine below the city. The second set is based on The Nether, where you’ll be able to place two ghasts and a zombie pigman. Both sets carry a retail price of $34.99. Lego currently has them stocked.
