The lights are on
You've read the reports, and you've seen the games. Now, Microsoft is giving fans across North America a chance to demo the Xbox One before it arrives in stores on November 22, 2013.
Larry Hryb (Major Nelson), Xbox Live's director of programming, is taking a tour of the United States and Canada to give fans a chance to get their hands on the Xbox One. He's kicking off the excursion in New England next week.
You'll be able to find him and the hardware at the following Microsoft Retail Store locations:
September 19, 20137:30 pm - 9:30 pmBurlington, VTBurlington Mall
September 20, 20137:30 pm - 9:30 pmBoston, MAThe Shops at Prudential Center
October 23, 20137:30 pm - 9:30 pmOrlando, FLMall at Millennia
October 27, 20137:30 pm - 9:30 pmWest Edmonton, Edmonton, Canada

Our TakeWith the exception of the Arizona event, these take place before the Xbox One launch. If you've been curious about the console, the games, and the controller, this will serve as a good opportunity to try things out for yourself. Until demo kiosks get into stores, there aren't going to be many opportunities to demo an Xbox One. If you're on the fence, take the chance to try the console out for yourself.
Why orlando? that place sucks
not even a single location near...
no one ever goes to st. louis area... bastards
Holy Crap! I'm only a 10 mins walk away from Burlington Mall!
I only live a hour away from Mall at Millennia. Sad thing is, its on a school day.
Finally they do it in Orlando, definitely going
Not a bad idea, I'm just bummed it's not coming to the Microsoft store near me.
Kind of odd locations.
the closest one to me is florida and that is 10 hours away... I guess i will just wait for launch. However, it is still pretty cool that they are trying to get the Xbox One into people's hands
I know what I'm doing then. Might as well get a feel for it- no pun intended.
Neato--wait! No Pacific Northwest love here? Phooie Microsoft.
