by Mike Futter on Sep 12, 2013 at 01:57 AM

You've read the reports, and you've seen the games. Now, Microsoft is giving fans across North America a chance to demo the Xbox One before it arrives in stores on November 22, 2013.

Larry Hryb (Major Nelson), Xbox Live's director of programming, is taking a tour of the United States and Canada to give fans a chance to get their hands on the Xbox One. He's kicking off the excursion in New England next week.

You'll be able to find him and the hardware at the following Microsoft Retail Store locations:

September 19, 2013
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Burlington, VT
Burlington Mall

September 20, 2013
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Boston, MA
The Shops at Prudential Center

October 23, 2013
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Orlando, FL
Mall at Millennia

October 27, 2013
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
West Edmonton, Edmonton, Canada

December 6, 2013

No tickets are required, which means crowds are likely to be big. If you're interested in attending, Microsoft suggests arriving early.

Our Take
With the exception of the Arizona event, these take place before the Xbox One launch. If you've been curious about the console, the games, and the controller, this will serve as a good opportunity to try things out for yourself. Until demo kiosks get into stores, there aren't going to be many opportunities to demo an Xbox One. If you're on the fence, take the chance to try the console out for yourself.
