The lights are on
The Metro: Last Light Faction and Tower Packs are already out in the wild. Now the so-called Developer Pack is almost upon us. The third of four season pass DLC add-ons will release on September 17 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
The Developer Pack includes a large single-player mission inside a missile silo infested with spiders. To help players make it through, developer 4A Games has included a new flamethrower (seen above). According to the developer, this DLC was inspired by a test level in which the team could try out all the weapons in the game against endless hoards. Read up on all the details at the official Metro blog.
The final DLC is called the Chronicles pack, but we don't know much more about it. The season pass costs $14.99 and individual DLC packs have run at $4.99 so far.
Our Take:I haven't tried the other Last Light DLC, but this sounds like it could be cool. It's supposed to play up the survival horror aspects of Metro so if you're in the mood for that it'll be worth the download. It should be fun to see the impressive fire effect on full display as well.

I didn't realize this game needed DLC :/
That is a beautiful screenshot, by the way.
