Game of Thrones Is Now An 8-Bit Platformer
An enterprising fantasy fan has made an 8-bit style platformer inspired by HBO's Game of Thrones.
Able Alves has created Game of Thrones: The 8-bit Game, which you can download on his website for free. It features many of the famous characters and locations from the show (and the books that inspired them), including the Wall, John Snow, and Daenerys. Stick around until the very end of the trailer for a quick glimpse of Theon Greyjoy.

Our Take:
Eight-bit tributes are all the rage these days; it almost seems like a rite of pop culture passage to get one. Still, I'm a huge fan of the Song of Ice & Fire novels and the HBO show, so I'll probably give it a shot. I hope it has a Tyrion Lannister drinking minigame. Also, the iconic GoT theme song sounds great in the classic chiptune style.
