DuckTales: Remastered Releases For Xbox 360

by Matt Helgeson on Sep 11, 2013 at 05:44 AM

Capcom and Wayforward's enhanced remake of the NES-era classic is now available on Xbox Live.

Wayforward, which has recently had success with retro-style titles like Double Dragon: Neon and Mighty Switch Force, intends DuckTales: Remastered to be exactly what the name suggests: a version of the original brought to life with state-of-the-art, HD visuals. The levels and design of the game remains unchanged, but the hand-drawn sprite graphics and backgrounds have all been rebuilt from the ground up. The game's soundtrack and voiceovers have been redone as well, with some of the original voice cast.

DuckTales: Remastered is available on Xbox Live for $14.99. The game is already available on PlayStation 3 and Wii U.

Our Take:
Wayforward, which has actually been around since 1990, is finding some nice success with a range of product both large and small these days. They did a nice job with this game, read our review for more.
