The lights are on
Update: Keiji Inafune's successful Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter has broken the $2 million mark, ensuring that new Boss Rush mode will be in the game.
Of more interest, the game's console stretch goal, which would add PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U versions of the game, is $2.2 million. Given that the Kickstarter has 20 days to go, that seems very likely.

After receiving fan feedback (and thanking those fans for their support) Comcept and Keiji Inafune have decided to lower the stretch goal to bring the Mega Man spiritual successor to consoles.
At the launch of the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter, the stretch goal for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U versions of the game was $2,500,000, but it has now been lowered to $2,200,000. This change also eliminated some of the mysterious undefined stretch goals.
Currently the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter is sitting at $1,815,957, with 24 days left to go. For more on Mighty No. 9, head here.

Our TakeMighty No. 9's console release seems like a sure thing at this point, which is fantastic news. As excited as I was to hear about the creator of Mega Man making a new Mega Man-like game, I was disappointed to hear about its PC exclusivity. I really want to play the game on my television with a controller with as little effort as possible, and with these new relaxed stretch goals, it seems like there's a good chance that this will happen.

I was wondering why they put the console versions as high as they did but then I realized they knew that if they set the consoles price lower then everyone would've stopped funding it after that goal was hit. And lets face it they wanted more money. There's no way an making of documentary costs an extra 250,000. Look forward to it on the eShop.
Delicious Capcom Tears!
This is proof that a brand-new next-gen Mega Man title would sell like gangbusters.
This is going to be great on next-gen consoles.
Once it crosses 2.2 million I'll back it. Not crazy about making it several stretch goals down. Shantae Kickstarter was nice enough to do every system under the sun just on base funding goal.
i really hope this gets enough money to be put on consoles.....i would love to play this on my tv
This is awesome! I want a 360 version of game. Heck, I just want to se the game in action.
