The lights are on
Vin Diesel recently did an interview with ScreenCrush, where he let some news slip about a new Riddick game that's in development.
"My diehard gamers want Tigon to deliver the third chapter in the Riddick game," Diesel tells ScreenCrush. "We, just of the past couple of months, just this year, reassembled that team from Starbreeze that brought Escape from Butcher Bay to create the third game."
Unfortunately, Diesel didn't divulge any further on platforms, release window, or even what we'll encounter in the game.
Starbreeze Studios worked on Escape from Butcher Bay and Assault on Dark Athena, but as Diesel said, it's the Butcher Bay team working on the new project.

Our TakeIf the gamers plead enough, sometimes things come together wonderfully. I'm glad they're bringing back the team that worked on Butcher Bay, as that was one of the stronger releases in that series. Time will tell what's in store, but I'll confess it. I love when celebrities spill the beans early.

Loved the first two games, hope they stick to the strong single player, as the multi was fun but got old quick. I still need to see the new movie. oh, things to do, things to do.
The movies are pretty good, I hope the game is pretty good as well
Loved Butcher Bay on my Original Xbox. Love it on my 360. if the team can really put some effort into and not be rushed by a publisher this game will be Game of the Year
