The lights are on
Update: Keiji Inafune's successful Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter has broken the $2 million mark, ensuring that new Boss Rush mode will be in the game.
Of more interest, the game's console stretch goal, which would add PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U versions of the game, is $2.2 million. Given that the Kickstarter has 20 days to go, that seems very likely.

After receiving fan feedback (and thanking those fans for their support) Comcept and Keiji Inafune have decided to lower the stretch goal to bring the Mega Man spiritual successor to consoles.
At the launch of the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter, the stretch goal for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U versions of the game was $2,500,000, but it has now been lowered to $2,200,000. This change also eliminated some of the mysterious undefined stretch goals.
Currently the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter is sitting at $1,815,957, with 24 days left to go. For more on Mighty No. 9, head here.

Our TakeMighty No. 9's console release seems like a sure thing at this point, which is fantastic news. As excited as I was to hear about the creator of Mega Man making a new Mega Man-like game, I was disappointed to hear about its PC exclusivity. I really want to play the game on my television with a controller with as little effort as possible, and with these new relaxed stretch goals, it seems like there's a good chance that this will happen.

I really hope he (Keiji Inafune) can now create the game of his dreams. Best of luck to him and his whole team!
ill get it when it comes to vita... after GTA V im not really gonna buy alot of ps3 games... saving money for dat ps4
Really hope this comes to consoles.
I will give more money when i get my chek.
I hope they reach the goal
Cool, every dollar this makes it rubs its success in Capcom's face. Capcom was too darn lazy to get up off its butt and do something with Mega Man, so go Keiji!
When it gets released on consoles I might pick it up. I'm not a big enough fan of Mega Man to back the project but I do wish them luck :)
/insiert evil laugh here
"-go on kickstarter backers! Fund this game suckers!"
"-so that when it's done i'll just torrent it down fo freeeee!
Sweet. I wish this project the best of luck.
Pretty excited to play this game. This will be a great game I hope.
I think this would be awesome on Vita. Hopefully we will get a port if it is successful.
Dam that was quick... 0_0
I honestly want them to rearrange the stretch goals. Im a console gamer but could care less about the Ps3,360, Wii U versions I want the Extra End Stage & Boss!!!!
Also Im debating how much to fund still, I did the $20 for the game but do I want to upgrade it to get the exclusive in-game stuff? Also of all the betas Ive entered and done this is the only one Im HIGHLY interested in doing but the beta for this is also ironically the highest Ive ever seen XP decisions decisions
I really hope this reaches the goal to get on consoles.
I'm so excited for this! I'll be sure to donate, on my next payday.
This just goes to show that Kickstarter programs are a good idea.
If this could break the $3.3 million mark, that would be amazing - I've already thrown in $60, and this would be the perfect game for my PS4.
