The lights are on
Update: Keiji Inafune's successful Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter has broken the $2 million mark, ensuring that new Boss Rush mode will be in the game.
Of more interest, the game's console stretch goal, which would add PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U versions of the game, is $2.2 million. Given that the Kickstarter has 20 days to go, that seems very likely.

After receiving fan feedback (and thanking those fans for their support) Comcept and Keiji Inafune have decided to lower the stretch goal to bring the Mega Man spiritual successor to consoles.
At the launch of the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter, the stretch goal for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U versions of the game was $2,500,000, but it has now been lowered to $2,200,000. This change also eliminated some of the mysterious undefined stretch goals.
Currently the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter is sitting at $1,815,957, with 24 days left to go. For more on Mighty No. 9, head here.

Our TakeMighty No. 9's console release seems like a sure thing at this point, which is fantastic news. As excited as I was to hear about the creator of Mega Man making a new Mega Man-like game, I was disappointed to hear about its PC exclusivity. I really want to play the game on my television with a controller with as little effort as possible, and with these new relaxed stretch goals, it seems like there's a good chance that this will happen.

this is great news , altho i don't doubt with this much time left that it probly would have made the previous stretch goal. assuming that it does like i think it will i'll probly go with wii u for it , i know one day there'll be a time when i get tired of switching between hdmi cab;es for my ps3 a few years from now , its a sad thought but it happens with every gen eventually
YEAH! Can't wait!
Can't wait to play this!
Give me now
Playing on your TV with a controller doesn't take THAT much effort on PC games.
I'm curious about this game now.
This is great. I hope I'll be able to play this on my Wii U.
Why, I mean they're already at 1,750,000- what's another 5,000 or so?
actually i think it was 2.750.000$ before.
hope they reach the goal
