Titles Of Unannounced Assassin's Creed Games Leak

by Matt Helgeson on Sep 06, 2013 at 07:50 AM

A graphic showing logos for some unannounced Ubisoft games has leaked to the Internet, revealing a couple of new Assassin's Creed games and more.

The graphic (above), which was posted on A9VG and found by NeoGAF, shows titles and logos for a number of previously unknown Ubisoft projects, including Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD (which we assume is a console port of the handheld game), Assassin's Creed: Pirates, Rayman: Fiesta Run, Autodance II, Endwar Online, Rabbids: Big Bang, and Valiant Hearts: The Great War.

The games are supposedly set to be announced at Ubisoft's upcoming Digital Day event, meaning they are likely downloadable, mobile, or free-to-play titles.

Our Take:
More Assassin's Creed. It never seems to end. While it's still one of gaming's premier frachises (and I'm honestly very excited to play as a pirate in Black Flag), I think Ubisoft is really running a risk of burning out this franchise. Assassin's Creed games just don't feel like an event anymore. Contrast this to the hubbub surrounding the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto V. While gamers always clamor for more, sometimes it's better to play hard to get, especially with your biggest franchises. However, I will contradict myself a bit when I say that I hope the Liberation HD port is real; it's a good game not enough people got a chance to play.
