The lights are on
Microsoft isn't ready to confirm the Xbox One's release date, but it is confirming that production of the console has begun, and is coming along smoothly. It's going so smoothly, in fact, that Microsoft was able to boost the CPU performance of the system to 1.75 GHZ from 1.6 GHZ. Early last month, Microsoft announced that it had improved the system's GPU speed.
The news comes from Geekwire, who reports that at the Citi Global Technology Conference, Xbox chief marketing officer Yusef Mehdi confirmed that the console is in full production. Mehdi said, “This will be the biggest launch we’ve ever done by a wide margin in terms of units shipped at launch.”
Our TakeIt's strange to not know the release date of a console that is currently being manufactured. Microsoft has confirmed that it will be available in November, but not much else. The PlayStation 4 is launching November 15, and where the Xbox One lands in relation to that date is very important. Hopefully Microsoft will offer an announcement soon.

Awesome news, but still holding out for $100 price drop!
Pumped for Xbox One!
well im guessing its gonna be around the same time ps4 is released
Improvements should be good.
I'm getting a PS4 myself, but I can't deny the fact that Microsoft is certainly proving themselves as consistent in terms of making the X1 a powerful console. Granted, it's not a huge jump but still, more CPU is always nice.
I'm so ready for this machine.
Can't wait for my Xbox One!
I bet u they r going to wait u til Tokyo game show to announce the release date to try and steal some thunder from ps
Im getting it for Christmas, but it would still be cool to know when its officially hitting stores :/
They are going to have to push the Chinese slave labor hard in order to produce enough consoles by November...
Good to hear they've improved it more :)
they probably did/announced this just to see if Sony would do the same thing.
