The lights are on
4J Studios, the developer behind the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, announced today a content pack of Mass Effect items and themes is on the way.
The content pack will add all kinds of general Mass Effect stuff. The pack will add 36 Mass Effect skins, a Mass Effect texture pack, the Mars facility world save, Mass Effect themed menus and UI, and the Mass Effect soundtrack, among other surprises.
The pack will be available September 4 for $3.99. You can check out the trailer from PlayXBLA for the pack below.
Our TakeMincecraft is a game reliant on the creativity of its users, and I think this is a cool way to offer a sort of set of paintbrushes and tools, but still have a specific theme. The price is right, too. Having the Mass Effect soundtrack playing over your Minecraft world is almost worth the $3.99 on its own.

Looks cool! Excited to see what else they have in the future
They pulled me back in...
Haha, goofy idea.
Oh my goodness. I'm coming back, Minecraft360.
Going once, going twice, I'm sold.
I'll pass on this one. I was never a fan of putting sci-fi textures into my Minecraft when I played the PC version. I'll wait until they make a more medieval feeling one.
I'm holding out for one based on Skyrim or something.
I'm going to repurchase for PS4. I can wait til then.
