The lights are on
The Minnesota State Fair is going on this weekend, so a few of us will be checking that out. Otherwise, we'll be taking the three day weekend to play a lot of games.
Ben Hanson: This weekend I'm playing a little game I like to call "moving an entire house". It's like Tetris, if the play field was 8 miles long and each Tetris block was a box filled with books that made you sweat while carrying it. Other than that, I'm looking forward to continuing my love-affair with Disney Infinity. I started it last night and am really impressed. I'm an insane fan of The Incredibles and it is already the best game based on that license. There are a lot of really smart decisions that went in to the design of that title. Have a good weekend!
Kyle Hilliard: Lots of Rayman Legends. A little bit of Saint's Row IV. The state fair might get thrown in there. Maybe a nap?
Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I plan on preparing for GTA V’s impending release by playing more GTA IV. I started playing the game again last week, and getting accustomed to the game again has been a bit rough. Rockstar has refined its controls a lot since 2008 though, so I’m not particularly worried about running into the same problems with GTA V.

I'll continue playing GTA IV in anticipation of GTA V. I'll also play lots of Payday 2 with my friends. It's one of the funnest games I've played in a while. It reminds me of the fun I had when I first got into Call of Duty Nazi Zombies. It's a shame they over complicated that game...
I'll be dividing my time between paying bills, cleaning the old apartment so I can get the deposit back, and playing Hatsune Miku Project Diva F. Yes, this is the same woman who usually devotes her Saturdays to Dynasty Warriors. But the songs are catchy and, in a few cases, gorgeous (*cough* Ashes to Ashes *cough*), and the videos are really good. As a Vocaloid fan, this was a Day One/Midnight purchase for me. I doubt it'll leave my PA3 for weeks to come.
Just got back from a two week training mission, so hopefully I can pick up Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Killzone 3; maybe Disgaea 3 and 4 from my local game shop too. Other than that, I hope to put the finishing touches on Deadpool and gain some ground in The Last of Us, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Street Fighter x Tekken and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Happy gaming everyone.
I just beat Chrono Trigger last night, all I can really say about it is that it was a freaking journey. Play it. Now. Now that I've got a little more time on my hands, I might try to beat a few games like The Legend of Zelda NES before Rayman Legends steals my gaming life away.
Ni no kuni, ace attorney (apollo), infinity... Need to hurry and finish at least one game this month. too many games
Hopefully I can get around to beating the last boss on Pikmin 3. Other than that I've been itching to play SSB: Melee for some reason and maybe I'll start Dead Rising 2 because Case Zero was pretty fun.
I'm trying to play catch up on quite a few games I haven't beaten yet. For some reason, I was really close to the end of Demon's Souls but lost my save. So... I'm starting that over. Dead Space 2 I need to finish as well. I'll be throwing in Terraria as well!
Finally got around to playing Skyrim and it's just as great as I hear it is. I'm also considering buying a Vita. Anyone have any advice about some good Vita games I should look into?
I'll be continuing my first viewing of Bones (I'm on Season 3 so far) and playing AC:Brotherhood.
Madden 25-enough said!
My gaming sessions this weekend have been almost exclusively with Saints Row IV. It is absurd fun, and I can't seem to stop playing it. Lego City Undercover is also getting some attention, as well as Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Just like last week, I am continuing to play 2013 titles instead of dipping into my backlog (like I normally do).
