The lights are on
The Minnesota State Fair is going on this weekend, so a few of us will be checking that out. Otherwise, we'll be taking the three day weekend to play a lot of games.
Ben Hanson: This weekend I'm playing a little game I like to call "moving an entire house". It's like Tetris, if the play field was 8 miles long and each Tetris block was a box filled with books that made you sweat while carrying it. Other than that, I'm looking forward to continuing my love-affair with Disney Infinity. I started it last night and am really impressed. I'm an insane fan of The Incredibles and it is already the best game based on that license. There are a lot of really smart decisions that went in to the design of that title. Have a good weekend!
Kyle Hilliard: Lots of Rayman Legends. A little bit of Saint's Row IV. The state fair might get thrown in there. Maybe a nap?
Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I plan on preparing for GTA V’s impending release by playing more GTA IV. I started playing the game again last week, and getting accustomed to the game again has been a bit rough. Rockstar has refined its controls a lot since 2008 though, so I’m not particularly worried about running into the same problems with GTA V.

I have work all this weekend, but when I'm not there I'll probably try to finish Max Payne 3. On the handheld front, doing my annual run through of Ocarina of Time. It's amazing I can take a full Nintendo 64 game to work with me on my 3DS. Technology is so cool. I also preordered a Legend of Zelda Wii U bundle yesterday, so I'll be highly anticipating that while simultaneously coming up with more money to help pay it off. Have a great weekend!
I'll probably play some Halo with friends and get back into Just Cause 2. I might play some Fruit Ninja on my tablet as well. Other than that, it's finishing some homework, studying, and sleeping.
I will getting the last few trophies I can get in SR4, then start over with anoher character. Beyond that, just relaxing.
I am hoping to spend my wk end playing Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn however if the servers are still messed up. Which they could be I will be playing my 3ds games. I just picked up Disney Infinity for the 3ds yeah its a dumb downed version of the game but still fun just the same. I will play a lot of my backlog I am hoping to be able to play Final Fantasy this wk end fingers crossed great game. I have played a little bit and the game is amazing have a great long wk everyone.:)
FF14 with several co workers, that's all I'm gaming this weekend.
Hmm... Let's see.. I'll be playing some Final Fantasy XII and then jumping into some Final Fantasy XIII for some grinding...and without a doubt getting some time into Tales of Xillia other then that I may watch a few episode of the X files and fall away in the supernatural life-style.
I'm not really playing anything.
I got into a fight today and am icing the cranium. I need some Dead Rising 2 so I can smash zombies in the face better than I do in real life. And yes I have zombies in my mountain town. Dead Rising looked stupid as hell but I tried it for free from Xbox Gold and holy roller it's too much goodness for me to handle without sitting up and smiling like the dumb kid that I am. I got the "killed 1000 zombies" achievement-probably my favorite one ever.
I have no idea, I already beat Blacklist but could play some more. I am mostly waiting for Rayman Legends to come out and GTAV to come out.
Blacklist, the local college fairs with my younger cousin, and some special coverage for an as of yet unnamed project are all of my plate this weekend. Wish me luck, and send me some caffeine patches please- I could use both.
I got a Vita last week so I will be continuing my FFVII playthrough on that as well as Guacamelee.
I've been trophy and achievement hunting all week, I'm looking for people to play Far cry 3 Co-op with so I can platinum it, PSN name freedom452 if you want to play. Other than that I'm thinking about playing through Dead Space, Extraction,1,2,3 for trophies and to keep me busy till GTA5 comes out. And might try for more achievement's in Blacklist.
Persona 4: The Golden, and Tokyo Jungle.
After the fun and hilarity that was Psychonauts officially ended as of this Friday, I'll be launching into my weekend with some more Walking Dead, Phoenix Wright, and Pikmin 3. I'm getting to the end of most talked about episodes of the former two and I have to say that I already feel the epic tension building. For the latter, tossing small colorful critters at other, slightly bigger creatures is strangely therapeutic and relieving any stress I have about finishing up a super special Labor Day blog. I'm strange like that. Wish the GI editors the best of times at the fair and everyone, enjoy your Labor Day Weekend!
