The lights are on
The gorgeous Rayman Legends will be out on September 3, 2013, but you can get another look at the game in action before then. Rayman's initial appearance on the stunning UbiArt Framework engine wowed us in Rayman Origins, and Legends continues to amaze.
As you might recall, Rayman Legends was originally supposed to be a Wii U exclusive. Ubisoft decided to delay it to get the most traction out of a simultaneous multiplatform launch.
You can read our review of Rayman Legends here. The title will be out for Wii U, Vita, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 3, 2013.
Our TakeThe UbiArt Framework engine is simply stunning. In addition to the upcoming Child of Light, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told us at Gamescom that there are a number of titles in development using the tools. I'm eager to see what the various Ubisoft studios are cooking up.

I really wanted to pick this up on the Vita, but Killzone Mercenary and GTA 5 aren't too far behind.
This game looks astonishingly beautiful
I really, really, want this game. It was going to be the reason to buy a WiiU for me. Now I'll just get it on my PS3. The WiiU will have to wait.
My goal was to earn a platinum in Origins first, but man, I want to play this so bad already.
I'd be shocked if this doesn't beat out the Mario franchise at every opportunity it gets for BEST PLATFORMER this year. And at least a few awards for best art direction...
That was a really well done trailer by the way, awesome transitions and integration of the scores and quotes. I'm gonna watch it a couple more times now...
For those of you that are interested in this game and have yet to play Origins, do yourself a favor and pick it up and play through it before Legends.
You'll thank me later.
Even after all this time, Rayman is still look'in great. Might get this once I have the money/time.
Just pre-ordered this on Steam for $40 and got Rayman Origins for free! Helluva deal.
