The lights are on
In conjunction with the Wii U price drop and 2DS announcements, Nintendo has confirmed the dates and prices for its fall 2013 titles. Here's when you can expect both The Legend of Zelda titles, Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, and more.
Here's the info straight from Nintendo.
Here are a number of third-party Wii U titles on the way this fall:
Additionally, Nintendo has conveniently shared the launch dates of a number of third-party titles:
Our TakeI'm glad to have some of these dates finally. I'm eager to pick up Wind Waker HD and Link Between Worlds. Some of the pricing decisions are interesting, with first-party Wii U prices fluctuating between $49.99 and $59.99. The price discrepancy is even broader when you consider that Wii Party U comes with a Wii Remote Plus and still carries the lower price point. Nintendo has put a premium price tag on Mario 3D World, while Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze will come in $10 lower.
It's hard not to read into the pricing a bit and infer something about Nintendo's perception of the titles' relative quality. We'll have to wait for reviews to see if retail price has any relation to enjoyment, though.

My wallet is screaming in agony at all these games I'm gonna get.
I must find a Job for that Wii U wind waker bundle!
The box art for WWHD is so awesome that I'll wait rather than download it early. It's a close thing though.
Yep,the Wii U is looking pretty good right now,not as good as a high end PC,but still, pretty good.
