The lights are on
Barry Sanders is the cover athlete for Madden 25. He also delights in watching people run 40 yards in order to get their hands on an early copy of the game.
In the video below, you can see Madden fans young and old sprinting their hearts out for 40 yards so that they can play Madden 25 before its August 27 release date.

Our TakeI think I could be convinced to sprint 40 yards for an early copy of a game I was excited about. I'd probably end up like the guy in the red shirt at around the 17 second mark, but I'd have a new game to help me nurse my wounds.

I was gonna make fun of them but then I'd realize what I'd do for a copy of MGSV.........dark things. Daaaaaark things.
What?! That Barry, making kids exercise for a video-game that they'll sit their butts down for hours at a time playing. What has this country come to?. . . =P
I would do that if it was for a free game. Even though I never play Madden, why not? Might make me. If you are a developer and you give me a free game, I am going to play it.
my favorite part was when he forced the old lady with an oxygen tank to run 40 yards. lol. she was ready keel over at any second.
yea! get those couch potatoes to run and earn that game. you go Barry!
Umm...do you still have to pay for it?
Or you just run 40 yards and get it for free...
I just wanna know if EA has finally found a solution to the problem that has plagued it for years.. Have they fixed the fact that the Games QB stands behind the Berlin Wall when I/You/Anyone sends more than 5 guys and the line blocks for an hour & the QB stands and stands orders a Pizza, eats a Sandwich, drinks a Powerade but yet when Our QB drops back and the game sends 3 guys our 5 lineman can't block for more than .5 seconds....
I bet he enjoyed this.
I think that's pretty creative and funny :) I'd run wayyy further for a game I loved :D
