The lights are on
College student Dan Borenstein has been tinkering with assorted Oculus powered simulations, and his latest experiment involved suspending himself in the air to play SkyDIEiving, an Oculus Rift skydiving simulator.
You can check out the video below to see Borenstein doing his best to retain his lunch while simulating the act of skydiving.
Borenstein spoke with VentureBeat about the project and said, "It’s an awesome experience. I can’t say I would want to do a long session of gaming, but in terms of immersion, this is fun." Borenstein said that he has always been interested in skydiving, but is scared to actually jump out of plane.

"Forward unto victory, let's get in that hole!" Without seeing the video I wasn't sure this was skydiving.
He has my CololerMaster case.
Very cool! Can't wait to see it in action some day.
He's the Lawnmowerman.
I would definitely puke with my sensitive stomach. I don't even go on roller coasters.
This sounds awesome. I went skydiving once a few years ago and I would love to go again but it's kinda expensive. Although I doubt this would be as fun, I'd still be interested to try it
