The lights are on
The developer behind the not-yet-released Rambo: The Video Game, has acquired another notable '80s film franchise with Terminators, and it plans on making a video game.
Reef is not announcing a video game, but rather announcing that it now has the rights to make Terminator video games. The license appears to only cover games based on the films The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, as opposed to a video game based on the Terminator universe which are what most Terminator video games past have been based.
Reef's collection of released games is small. It created the Wii port of the game Rogue Trooper, and a Rambo video game is on the way.
Our TakeThere certainly could be cool video games based on The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Reef has yet to prove itself as a noteworthy developer, so I don't know if it is the studio to do it, but I admire anyone willing to try.

half life 3 confirmed !!!!
Because why make your own original game when you can leech off someone else's success???? Everyone knows all the best games come from movies!
There is actually a "movie" called Terminators released by straight-to-SyFy Asylum Studio. If this game turns out better than Aliens Colonial Marines, that would be something.
The Rambo game looks bad so i don't have high hopes for this.
Come on, get the Ride to Hell: Retribution people on this!
Nothing can beat Terminator 2 on Arcade....Terminator has always had potential to be great games but instead we get crap like Terminator (Nes), T2. The movie game (Snes)....Bring Arnold back for voice acting and it is sold...
So when are we getting a Highlander game?
This could be incredibly amazing or a flat out flop... it all depends on how they make it. I think it would be beneficial for the creators of the games to keep the feel of the graphics cartoon or arcade-like. Both Rambo and Terminator appeal to a older generation and could prove difficult to modernize the characters. It will be interesting to see what direction development will go in and what the final project will look like...
"We haven't made a Terminator game yet, but by gum are we threatening you with one."
Terminator Redemption was a worthy title.
Any game with "the video game" in it's title is bound to be bad, with the exception of ghostbusters, that game was amazing in every way, but this seems plagued as I've seen the trailer for that rambo game and it looks like a ps2 game at best, nothing worth more than 15 bucks on the psn store.
Rambo: The Videogame looks like ***. I don't expect "Terminators" to be any different.
