The lights are on
As part of our ongoing coverage of Dragon Age: Inquisition, we're going to be recording a chat with one of the minds behind the game. If you have a burning question for BioWare, this is your chance to ask it.
Here's what you do: Ask your question(s) in the comments below. We're going to harvest the whole batch at the end of the day on Monday, August 26. Then, we're going to hand-pick which questions we bring up during the Q&A session. After we have everything recorded, we're going to post the discussion as a special edition podcast in a couple weeks.
So, post away and maybe you'll hear BioWare address your question!
Email the author Joe Juba, or follow on Twitter, Facebook, and Game Informer.
I know that Inquisition probably won't focus on things that happened in the book's comic's etc. (because you don't want to restrict people and everything, which is cool I get it) but will there be some kind of references to them?
Considering what happened in Asunder, (and presumably The Masked Empire?) it'd be nice to hear tid-bits of information here and there, even if they're just some name drops, or subtle references or something.
Has Baldur's Gate II influenced the development of Dragon Age: Inquisition?
Do you have an ETA for the system requirements?
I've been a dedicated DragonAge player since the beginning. I have multiple Play-through of both DA:O & DA2. All on the XBOX 360. I'm buying the XBOX ONE once released because I want to see games like DA:I in the improved Platform. How are you going to handle the ability for me to Import my XBOX 360 Storyline/Saves to the XBOX ONE? Or will I be required to buy the XBOX 360 version if I want to retain that Story?
Are there different voice actors for each gender AND race? Or is it the same male and female voice across the board for human/dwarf/elf?
Is mounted combat possible? And will it provide horsey-specific abilities?
What mythologies will you be looking at for monsters?
will we meet Hawke or at least get to know where and why he/she disappeared ?
Will there be simultaneous missions for our companions that isolate them from our main character so we have incentive to use, level up, and outfit all our companions even when we may no use them in our primary party?
Sort of like Mass Effect 2's suicide run, but instead of sending off half your cast for a diversion, you actually get to play their contribution.
Will we see our Old God Babies or our stars from the last two games in a cameo of some sort? I know they won't be party members, but nonetheless, given the events of Witch Hunt - my Warden went with Morrigan - it seems only logical that they'd at least appear in some proximity. Will the DLC factor into the events of Inquisiton at all?
Will there be Griffin mounts?
Can you color your armor and/or your companion's armor?
Where did you get the idea for Dragon Age ?? Was it an idea that popped into your mind & also was there a lot of pressure making this series because it was not long after the success of Mass Effect ??
I want to know about the castle. Do we get our own customizable castle? Also, how is this agent thing going to work? I'm hoping it won't be a gimmicky thing because it could be a whole lot of fun commanding your own army.
What are some new ideas that you have added to the combat?
