The lights are on
Last week we reported on Blizzard's teaser for something called "Reaper of Souls" set in the Diablo universe. We can confirm our guess about this being an expansion was correct.Reaper of Souls will introduce the new Crusader mid-range melee class and pit players against Malthael, the fallen Angel of Wisdom (and now an angel of death). New monsters, new environments, and new loot (with an improved drop system) will all be on hand. We'll be speaking more with Blizzard about Diablo III: Reaper of Souls and more this week at Gamescom 2013.

Hopefully they fix everything else they failed at also besides the loot system.
Well, I might consider this expansion, though I haven't touched D3 since the summer of it's release. I just don't want to spend the money on this and get all two hours of gameplay. I get the point of these games is to run them on higher difficulties and get better equipment, however, I rarely play through a game more than once these days unless they have completely captured my mind (like Diablo 2 had successfully done back in its hayday.) But, knowing Blizzard these days. You'll get maybe 2 hours of gameplay one new area that's maybe half the size of the first chapter and a bunch of nerfing on established classes.
That new class looks very interesting, run in, hit the floor, summon ghosts, repeat.
Bleh I own D3 however don't have much enthusiasm to play it compared to when D1 or D2 was around.
Wonder if this expansion will be coming to the console versions sometime after it hits PC
Pretty cool. Still need to get the original game.
Doesn't look like they changed much. Meh.
I'm still curious about trying this game on PS4, but the longer wait makes it less attractive.
