The lights are on
A year ago, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford mentioned that he was interested in bringing Borderlands to the PlayStation Vita. Today, on the stage of Sony's Gamescom 2013 press conference, that dream became a little more real. With the help of Divekick developers Iron Galaxy Studios, 2012's Borderlands 2 will be miniaturized and released on Sony's portable in 2014. Sony will be handling the publishing duties, making this an interesting collaboration. No word yet on which additional content (if any) will be included, but we'll be sure to prod Gearbox about it when we see them for their PAX panel.

NOW WE HAVE TRUE TOTAL PORTABLE MAYHEM!
GAMING ON THE GO JUST GOT BETTER....
QUE MARCUS PSP!
1. Does anyone really want this? Seems to me anyone interested in this game probably already played it to death on the consoles (like me). 2. This could get really interesting if they got exclusive content. Vita only character would be real nice.
Yes! I am very hopeful about the future of Vita with the next gen.
Crossplay and saves would be a nice feature.
Borderlands 2 is one of those games I could play and play and not become bored with. I think bringing it to a handheld is a great idea as long as the game doesn't need to be stripped down in order to make it happen. Being able to import the BL2 saves from your PS3 would be great too.
This game ran like *** on my ps3 rebought it for my pc , the splits teen was awful dropping to like 12 fps.
This would make me buy-back my vita
If it can do it justice, that would be most welcome!
So what is the exact nature of the collaboration between Gearbox and Iron Galaxy Studios? Are they porting it?
